Maltodextrin is a moderately sweet polysaccharide, used as a food additive. Extracted from starch; in appearance a creamy white, hygroscopic powder. Maltodextrin is easy to digest, is absorbed quickly, and is also gluten free. A favourite ingredient and additive for biofoods. The product is a basic commodity in the food industry, which complies with current EU and Hungarian specifications.
